The actor Nivin pauly became popular in tamilnadu after his movies Neram and Premam, though premam is a Malayalam film it gave big reach for Nivin pauly and sai pallavi in tamilnadu as it ran more than 200 days in Chennai. This is the second movie for the actor in tamil language after Neram.

In this film he acted as a local rowdy , so far he acted in soft type films mostly, this film he have chosen an action hero story.  At first the team has planned to shoot the movie in both tamil and Malayalam languages later they changed their decision and planned to focus on a single language.

The movie has four songs all of them are composed by music director of the Richie movie Ajaneesh Loknath. Songs of the movies were released during the last week of November month. The film shooting was started in the 2016 mid and it came to the theatres in the December first week.
